Where's a clean & respectable hotel to stay at in Norfolk?

Hi all. I'll be attending a show at The Norva in the coming weeks and have been trying to find a hotel that's close. I'm having a hard time because all the reviews I read are terrible. Most read that they are not clean and in bad parts of town.

Any suggestions?

See if they have a Doubletree. They are inexpensive and very nice! 3 stars for a cheaper price. Plus, as soon as you get there, they give you warm chocolate chip cookies. mmmmm...
