Anywhere and everywhere!  It really depends on what kinds of ladies you wish to meet and for what.  You can party and go to clubs, or for another type, go to dog parks, church, the library, the grocery store, running clubs, bike clubs, reading clubs, book signings, etc.

There are so many interesting and different interest groups and things to do every night, art openings, film showings, lectures, travelogues, and so forth, and LA is (or can be) very friendly.  Just look for people like you.  If you find yourself surrounded by people who are shallow or less than friendly or who do not share your values, you are in the wrong crowd.  It's a big city, so keep looking!
