My husband and I are going to be in Paris next weekend when the semi finals are on (didn't plan it that way, just a happy coincidence! So much for the romantic short break...). Where are other England fans likely to be (would prefer not to be the only two surrounded by thousands of French!). Thank you!

  1. Probably Place de clichy...there you will find corcorans irish pub,o'sullivans irish pub, cockney tavern and loads of cafe's.

    try this list...www.funkymaps.com

  2. nowhere in France!! I think you'll be better to take two Eurostar tickets and go to London.

but there is another solution: support the XV de France!

  3. google for 'pub anglais Paris' and you will get a long list of English pubs to go to. Many are braced for the match already like the Frog.

    Good luck

  4. Try english Pubs!

  5. I'm secretly rooting for England myself and will probably go to either the Cricketer (41 rue des Mathurins) or Kitty o'Shea's (rue des Capucines).

I also hang out at the Corcoran's on the boulevard Poissonières (metro Grands Boulevards) and there are lots of English travelers in there.

    Have fun!

  6. You can go on the place of the town council of Paris (metro : Hotel de Ville, line 1). Of course there will have lot of french, but also lot of english. It is a nice place, because the ground is in grass, the screen is very big and there are some bars just behind, so if you're thirsty, you don't have to go far.
