Where's a good place to buy ski boots in southern california?

I live in Orange County and am looking to buy a good pair of well-fitting ski boots at a pretty cheap price (I've mostly been looking at summer clearance stuff on the internet. y'know, REI and stuff).

Obviously the boots need to fit so it seems that ordering blindly off the internet isn't such a good idea (or is it?). Where can I find a place to try on and get fitted for ski boots in my area with someone who knows what they're doing and has a large selection? And should I buy the boots from the place where I was fitted for them or is there anything wrong with buying them cheaply off the internet as long as I was fitted for them first?

It seems most places are closed for the summer but it seems to me that buying boots now is a better idea in order to take advantage of summer clearance sales (price is a big factor for me).

I've mostly been looking at Salomon boots (along the lines of the older Foil models or Mission 7s) but I'm open to any equivalents. Where should I go?

Check out Stephen Kailen Ski and Golf. they are on PCH in newport beach. Great boot fitters and can find some great deals during the summer.
