Where's a good place to find the day's current wave heights?

Hey, I'm just getting into surfing and I'm wonder where's a good place I can go to find out how high the waves will be? Also I'm wondering up to how high can the predict waves accurately.

surfline.com is the standard for the web for surf forecasts. But you may have better luck with local sites. surf report and your location into your search engine of choice.
