Where's a good place to get eyeglasses?

i wear contacts but i want to get a pair of glasses. i have a valid perscription from Pearle Vision so i shouldn't need an exam. anyone ever get glasses from them or know a better place. i'm not looking for name brand, just a pair to wear at nights and mornings when i'm not wearing my contacts

I've found that small, independent stores do a much better job.  I've gotten the wrong prescription more than once from the chains.  Sometimes it costs more, but it's worth it to be able to see!
