Where's a good place to go on a honeymoon that's not too far from Salt Lake City?

My Fiance and I don't have much money, we live in Salt Lake and we both want to get out of the city for a couple days for our honeymoon. I want to find some place very romantic that won't be too long of a drive (8 hours tops) and relatively inexpensive. We only have about 600-900 for the honeymoon. Any ideas or suggestions?

  1. If you like the outdoors, Yellowstone National Park is beautiful.  You could easily spend a couple days there.  Old Faithful is probably the most famous geyser, but there is so much more...Yellowstone Lake, the canyon, wildlife, pools & geyers ranging from teal to mud...bubbling to fountains...noisy...smelly, the terraces in the northern part are gorgeous.

As for funds, have you considered a honeymoon registry?  http://www.sunshinetravelinc.net has a free one (look on the extras tab).  The FAQ is a good place to start if you've never heard on one before.
