Hi!

I need a good place to go in London with a girl that i am trying really hard to repair our friendship (and relationship) with. We are both 16...

I need to find a great place that will be really fun to go to and not something that is expensive- free would be even better... We don't have much money...

Thanks very much in advance!

=D

  1. take a tour bus to see all the city's landmarks

  2. Take her on a date to a museum.  Take her to the National Gallery on Trafalgar Square and sit her down in front of Van Gogh's sunflowers.  Tell her the story of how passionate a man he was that he cut off his own ear.  Perhaps she can then see how passionate you are about repairing your relationship.  All museums and galleries are free in London and they're not all boring.  The Science Museum has loads of fun hands on stuff and the museum of childhood in bethnal Green has loads of toys you probably had when you were younger and a scary amount of old doll houses.  Sometimes just a little walk at dusk along the banks of the thames holding hands and stopping for a coffee or a burger can be more memorable than anything that costs a lot of money.

  3. 1) Try this swimming pool, just 3.75£ each:

    Oasis Sports Centre

    32 Endell Street, WC2H 9AG

"Not one but two swimming pools - one indoor and one outdoor, both heated. Often the outdoor pool is popular with recreational swimmers. If your intention is to relax while you get refreshed, there's even a sundeck to lie out. Thanks to the wonderfully central location of this pool, you can head out from your swim, feeling cooled and calmed, and arrive bang in the middle of colourful Covent Garden"

    Address: 32 Endell Street, WC2H 9AG

    Phone: 020 7831 1804

Timing: Outdoor pool - Mon to Fri 7.30am-9pm, Sat & Sun 9.30am-5.30pm

    Pricing: £3.75

    Nearest Station: Covent Garden Tube

    2) Or have fun in Camden town market: nice and colorful setting. Underground Station: Camden Town Tube.

    3) Go to Phoenix Garden

    21 Stacey Street, Camden,  London,  WC2H 8DG

"Small garden in the heart of the West End, hidden from most tourists and residents alike, lies this beautiful West End garden. This small city centre idyll is now a tranquil haven for wildlife. Frogs and tadpoles saturate the pond, while birds of all shapes and sizes frequent the trees, nest boxes and feeders, this garden feels unlike another in London. It has a warm, friendly, intimate feel to it . This is very much a “living” garden – a pretty park with real heart and soul."

    Underground Stations

    Tottenham Court Road Tube

      Leicester Square Tube

    Have fun anyway!
