ok, so me and my friend were joking around and we got on the conversation me proposing to her(long story) now, does anyone know a good place to propose in illinois? or any place in general would be great! thanks!

The top of Sears Tower. Being in love puts you on top of the world, metaphorically, so why not be there literally?

Florence, Italy. A small cozy restaurant where no one spoke any English but the wait staff certainly understood my finacee's proposal to me...we had a round of applause and smiles. It was completely romantic and yes, even in your mid forties....romances is alive and well!

Ok, as for your question.....choose a location that has meaning for both her and you and has meaning to the both of you as a couple.
