Where's a great vacation spot in southern italy?

my wife, baby boy and I want to go to southern italy. Thanks for your help!

There is this neat little town on the east coast of Italy called Alberobello. In the older section of town there are round houses with cone shaped tops :) It's a neat day trip. Also, nearby there is a town called Bari and they have a cool ZooSafari that would be fun for your little boy. Among other things, they have these monkey trains that you sit in and drive through a monkey exhibit. All the monkeys jump onto the train and you can feed them peanuts through the bars. On the west coast, I'd have to say Naples. It's great because it's not too tourist-y and you get the real feel of Italy :) Have fun!

the amalfi coast is one of the most beautiful places i've ever been in the world.  would have been near the top of our list for honeymoon destinations if we hadn't been there already.  would strongly suggest staying in ravello if you make the trip, specifically, the hotel palumbo.  set high above the meditarranean and surrounded by lemon trees, the views are incredible.    

it's a small town, but the people are friendly and the food is excellent.  

hard to go wrong in the south of italy regardless of where you go.  hope you have a great trip.
