Where's luigi on super mario ds?

Question

on the nintendo ds game "super mario ds", where is luigi's portrait so i can rescue him. I've done the "bowser in the dark world" level and have opened the door to the bowser's sub level, but i can't find luigi!

also on the hazy maze cave level "metal head mario can move", wheres the star? and at any point does the underground cavern have to be drained? if so, how do i do that?

thanks for your help i'm finding this really frustrating!

To Unlock Luigie you need about 15 stars.Go into one of the brown doors and you will see a big boo once you rune after him he will go through a door go throught that door and youll see loads of ghosts.there is one large boo with something like a cage inside it beat it to get to the course 'Big Boos Haunt" once you get in he mansion do a triple jump to get to the platform above or just deafeat the 5 boos in the mansion(wich will activate a staircast and a star).once you get up there go through one of the doors and in one of them there will be a '?' box

break it ,get the flower and float up to the secret floor.go throught the door and there will be Luigis portrait

First you need a wario cap then go right and the place with the sea monster and you will see a '?' box .Break it get the flower and you will turn into metal wario  runinto the water and youll notice youll just walk in it not swim.tfollow the path up to the '?' swith stand on it and the the door will open. then after go into the door and do 3 long jumpsand  you will get to the star!!

To find luigi:  Go into the castle and go into one of the unmarked brown doors on either side of the stairs.  You need to have 14 stars (I think) and be Mario.  You'll see a big Boo ghost in the corridor.  Follow it to the end of the corridor into the courtyard, where there will be a LOT of ghosts.  Go for the top left corner of the courtyard, there will be a large boo there with a cage inside it.  Defeat it to enter the course 'Big Boo's Haunt'.  Now go inside the Haunted House and triple jump to the second floor (if you can't do this, complete the first star by beating 5 Boos in the rooms on the first floor and then the Big Boo in the main room, which will activate a permanent staircase and a star).

Enter the door on the far right side on the second floor and you will see a red '!' box inside.  Get the power flower inside and float up to the secret ledge (float up and in the direction of the room's door)  and enter the door there.  You will now see Luigi's portrait.

First get the Wario cap (go right when you enter the level) and then go to the place where you got the first star, the place with the sea monster.  As Wario, use the power flower in the '!' box next to the elevator to turn into metal.  Follow the path down into the water (the metal suit lets you walk on the bottom of the lake) until you see a purple switch.  Step on it to open up the red cage which gives you access to a door.  Get out of the water, enter the door, and now the star is only 3 long jumps away.
