Where's my Stimulus Payment?

Question

I owed money on my taxes and sent them in mid April. The check that I wrote to pay my taxes cleared my account on April 15. The last two digits of my SSN are '00', so, my stimulus check should have been mailed by May 16, according to the IRS chart.

The info on the IRS site also says you should allow 6 weeks after your return is processes, so perhaps my check would not have gone out on the 16th. However, it's now been nearly two months since my tax payment cleared my checking account and I still have not received my stimulus check.

When I use the "Where's my Stimulus Payment?" tool on the IRS site, I get the error saying "We are sorry. Specific information about your Stimulus Payment is not available."

Have others experienced this much of a delay in receiving their check? Should I try to contact the IRS? On the error page I receive, there is a note saying that phone representatives will have no more information than what is available on that page.

Also, ax about mine, too. I'm a 95 and expect it in July (just ax if they be be hine)

Who knows? I got mine two weeks ago and got 2,000$ oh yea!

And to be a perfectionist, the 6-8 weeks processing time is only a time frame for refund returns.  Your return is a balance due and those are processed on a space available basis--that is LAST.

2 weeks after the tax return is processed is the earliest the stimulus would be allocated to your account and scheduled for a paper check.  Just keep checking where's my stimulus on Mondays.

You didn't file in time to be paid in the first group; your return had to be PROCESSED by the IRS by the April 15th filing deadline to be in that group.  Your return was probably not PROCESSED until the middle of May at the earliest and quite possibly the very end of May or even early June.  

The date that your check cleared is irrelevant.  The IRS strips checks and deposits them immediately upon opening your return.  The return then goes into a processing pile awaiting data entry; that can take 4 to 6 weeks to complete.

The first group of payments wraps up in July.  Expect your check no earlier than mid July.

I don't know why they call this a stimulus. Sounds kind of kinky to me, lol. Any way, my son was told that he would get his by 5/9 and he hasn't gotten it yet.

Mine was supposed to be here around 6/5 and I have seen nothing yet.

Wanted to know if I am definitly receiving a stimulus payment. I am receiving Social Security benefits and made 6689.00 in 2007. I have two Children, one who is 10 and another who is 15 and my husband who did not work last year. I was sent a stimulus form from the Social Security, So my Question is will I get a stimulus check?????????????????????????
