Where's our summer gone?

So far this year we've had 2-3 weeks of nice weather but that was in April!. It's now july and it's pretty much been raining all the time, what happened to summer!?. It's just all muddled up!.

Im in Britain btw.

Ironically, global warming is meant to cause hotter and dryer summers.

Maybe Fall is rushing in Britain. in VA, it's been pretty mild and Summerlike. Hopefully better tomorrow.

Out here in the east coast is like that too. *Sigh i miss those dry summer weather even tho it's hot as h**l and my skin is sensitive. My favorite weather is fall BTW

Haven't you ever heard the joke about "summer" in Britain?

Person 1 "Nice summer this year wasn't it"

Person 2 "Yes, I believe it was on a Tuesday"

I'm in the US: (Every time they show something on the news from England here in the US, it is raining there). I also had a friend who went to school there and confirmed this.

It's been pretty wet where I live in the northeast US too, about 14 rain/thunder storms in less than 3 weeks.

Earlier in the year the "ones in the know" reckoned we were going to have one of the,"best summers we have had for years, high temperatures and long sunny days".

They should be done for contravening the trade description act!
