Where's the Best Place for a 16 Year Old to Work?

Question

I will be turning 16 in a month and want to get a job immediately after so I am really looking around, and I want to know where is the best place to work as a teenager - more specifically, which types of places pay best, don't require a lot of previous experience and have the best hours? (I do need some time for homework, friends, my sports, etc!!) Any input is appreciated. Also, to get best answer you could include what the first step you would take to apply for the job that you suggest. Thank you!!

You should dress nice (nice shirt, shoes, pants), go to the store, ask for the manager or hiring manager, and ask for an application.

Use your best handwriting when filling the application out, and give it BACK TO THE MANAGER.

Then, about 3-4 days after, call or go up to the store, and ask for the manager or hiring manager, and say something such as "Hello, my name is (your name here), I was wondering if you were hiring, and if you have had a chance to look at my application, because I am very interested in a job with you.
