I would like to find a cool bar where I can hang out. I like Art Bar, but I want to find some more to choose from, the kind of bars that have events and are for the young adult crowd. Any suggestions???

  1. Water St. is probably the biggest amount of bars within one area. It's usually the 21-26 year old crowd, and every weekend the street is like a big party with tons of people going from bar to bar. There's something like 15-20 bars all within a half mile stretch.

North avenue on the east side has the same thing, but not quite as many bars as water street. I prefer North Ave. because it's not so rediculously packed full of people, and is still always a good time.

The east side in general has alot of cool places. Even the little bars tucked in the neighborhoods are usually fun.

  2. Yes Safe house is probably good, but maybe not always the youngest crowd?  Definitely Water Street and anything on the East side.  It's been a while since I have been in Milwaukee, but usually good bars around Marquette campus downtown.  A couple of good sites to check out below.

  3. Have you checked out water street? I hear that's a good place for the younger crowd.

Make sure you go out to eat at the Safe House... it's a good time.

  4. The safe house is a great place. It dosent even look like a bar from the outside, it's just a door. Then you walk into a little room with a guy sitting there and he ask you for a pass word. Usually all the locals know the password. But if you are from  out of town   and dont know ,be prepared.  Its fun, I wont ruin the experience for you so ill stop there. Go you will enjoy
