Where's the best place's for a surfing road-trip on east-coast QLD/NSW?

Startin from QLD Heading down I'd recommend Sunshine Beach/Alexandra Headlands (Noosa is also good but further up) down to Surfers (you could do Surfers, Coolangatta and Tweed Heads all in the one day) then to Byron/Coffs Harbour, Port McQuarrie and Maroubra. Have fun. Avoid Bondi unless you enjoy fighting d!ckheads for waves.

With only 5 days then the Goldcoast would be your answer 40 kilometre stretch of fantastic surfing and you could go to Byron Bay as well

I'm not a surfer, but the whole east coast south of the Great Barrier Reef would be suitable, not to mention the south and west coasts of Australia. How much time have you got?

youve got five days to do a surfing road trip of  Aussi's east coast have you checked the milages, as the lady said you can surf the whole east coast from bundaberg down but you wont drive that far in five days unless you do it non stop.
