  1. I'm from Montreal and being here, I'd still go with Vancouver.

  2. I'd probably say Vancouver BC since it's on the West Coast.

Did you know that is where the X-Files series was mostly filmed back in the 90's?

Toronto ON is a very busy city and boasts its very own International Film Festival.

And so does Montreal QC by the way!

A lot of US productions were filmed in and around Montreal - didn't you know?

Such as Gothika (Halle Berry), The Aviator (Leonardo DiCaprio), The Day After Tomorrow (Jake Gyllenhaal), etc.

    Good luck with your decision!

  3. From what I've heard, Vancouver offers better chances, since it is closer to LA.

  4. Even though TV and movies crews are all bilingual in Montreal, you'd find yourself at odd if you don't have a minimum fluency in French.

On the other hand, the need to speak some French if you work in Montreal can be good. Indeed, it considerably broadens your professional horizon since you can get contracts from two totally distinct markets.

    Action! (it's a bilingual word)

  5. probably toronto since it is the biggest and there is more tv jobs there.
