Go down to where the weekend markets are - there are lots of bars and pubs around there and near to the Cutty Sark - how about Up The Creek - the comedy place - that's always worth it for a good night out although it might not be that quiet unless you stay in the bar upstairs...

the greenwich union... fantastic pub which makes it's own beer, as in it has a micro-brewery...

The Trafalgar - head East along the river AWAY from the markets etc - good food too
