colorado...it snows earlier than most places....or aspen.

It depends on what kind of skiing you are talking about.

If you are looking for EPIC back country.. big mountain.. deep powder.. then I recommend..

Jackson Hole Wy, Utah, Kirkwood- Ca, Switzerland, France, Whistler-Canada, Taos New Mexico. and the list goes on.

If you are looking for park.. then I'm gonna go with Mammoth - Ca, Park city Ut, or the whole Tahoe area..

If you're talking all around awesome ski resorts to go to.. then I gotta say Lake Tahoe, Ca. We get deep snow, warm weather, awesome terrain, and there's over 12 ski resorts to choose from in a close area.

Colorado kicks ***, don't get me wrong. Their snow (light power) is epic and their terrain is sweet.. but it gets so cold out there in the winter that it might really turn you off.
