there's a book called Lonely Planet (NYC)

it is a really really helpful book for tourists like us because it includes walking tours, etc, and places to eat.

you should also try the yummiest Pizza Margherita at  'Lil Frankie  in East Village ^,^

you should have lunch/brunch at Cafe lalo!!! or at Sarabeth's :)

we chose Cafe Lalo hihihi because of the ambiance and because it's famous.

To relax, try having a picnic at Central Park.

we chose to eat at the top of one huge rock there to have e good view of the whole central park :)

This is NYC, there are so many restaurants it's hard to say what is the best place to eat, especially as everyone has different tastes.  Do you go by price, if so, John George, Per Se, Mesa.  Popularity, add, Daniel, Le Berniden.

Michelin Stars- Maze and the London Restaurant (my favorites)

There are some great ones in Manhatten and Brooklyn.

Whichever place, it's better to go to smaller places that not many know about and that arn't chains.

I recently went to a great restaurant callee Zooney's in Manhatten.

Villa Mosconi Restaurant!!

We try to eat here every week. It’s become like a second home. The staff is second to none and the food is amazing. No place is more welcoming. This is the one Italian restaurant that we recommend to all of our friends.

the best places to eat are usually the ones nobody knows about, the out-of-the-way places that are family owned

if you want something that's not same-old pizza or italian, you can make a lunch or an afternoon snack out of Caravan of Dream's nachos. they're famous for them - i mean, even the new york times said they were fantastic.
