Ben and Jerry's and Cold Stone Creamery are good if you want expensive and nice ice cream.  Baskin Robbin's is better for decent and inexpensive ice cream.

I used to live on the east coast when I was a little girl, and the best place to go for ice-cream was always Friendly's.  You could get a kid's conehead sundae for 99 cents (I'm sure it's more now, lol) - but beat this:

A scoop of your favorite ice-cream (mine was the butter crunch with butterscotch pieces) on top of Reese's Pieces, covered in hot fudge topping.  Then a sugar cone dipped in chocolate on top, with whipped cream "hair", a cherry "nose" and reese's piece "eyes".  It's still just the right amount for one person!! Yummy!

It depends where you are at? In Las Vegas- Danielle's chocolates and ice cream is the best, along with Tutti Bella. Besides that I love Cold Stone!

really depends where you are , but you may try to find marble slab creameries, kaleidoscope ice cream, dairy queen, if you can find one that is not run down. Mcdonalds and Sam's club ice cream is actually very good.
