Where's the best place to go travelling?

I need some time away from my family and to do the cheesy 'finding yourself' thing. I want to see the world and get drunk with interesting people, eat wierd food and also gain some spiritual enlightenment, if that's possible.

I only speak french and english though.

Going "walkabout" huh?... well... sometimes you just have to do that... don't forget the guitar.

I found that I could get along almost anywhere with ability in any TWO languages and it did't seem to matter what the were.
