I love the northeast.  From PA/NJ up to Massachusetts.

No, I don't live there but I'm from there and I miss it!  There was the emotional reason now here's some logical stuff....

Healthcare.  Docs are better up there I think.  My son got the best care up there.

Schools.  Good schools in a lot of areas up there.

Seasons.  You get all of them.  You have the mountains and the beach.

The people.  I've lived a few different places and I have to say I like the people in that area so much more than anywhere else.  Yeah you get the fakes and the liars and the backstabbers but I don't think it's as prominent as Vegas or Florida.  Up north we're loud, but at least we say whats on our minds.  And there's more diversity up there than where I'm living now.  Here it's rich old white retirees.  Me with my tattoos and funky hairstyles..i feel a bit out of place.

Plus, there's a lot to do up there.  So many parks, beaches, mountains, amusement parks, culture, theater, art, music, good shopping.....

sigh...
