I'm thinking about relocating to the UK next year. I have a Masters in Library Science and 8 years experience working in law libraries. I'd love to know how to go about finding a job as a informational professional or librarian in the UK.

  1. with those qualifications as bank or financial centre would be best bet for using  your talents. start with London as a main source of opportunity.

lots of law firms  have offices there and would probably welcome  your services and at least have potential for employment.

  2. Maybe a library of some kind. Surely you're the expert?!

  3. Try the law firms or the four Inns of Court.  Lincoln's Inn; Gray's Inn; Inner Temple; and Middle Temple.  They have first class law libraries.

  4. If you don't fancy Central London then try one of the major university cities like Oxford of Cambridge

Both have colleges specialising in training for the legal profession.

  5. A school im assuming.
