You can try the Pratunam area.

This place is right on Petchaburi Road, near the Baiyoke Tower Hotel.  This area has a lot of clothing wholesalers.  Some of the street vendors buy their wares in this area. http://www.krungthong-plaza.com/index_en...

You should also visit MBK.  MBK is right off a Skytrain stop.

Are you looking for anything in particular?  Some tourists like visiting the Weekend Market at Chatuchak and look for deals.  I think it is worth a look but you may get the same deals or better deals on Phetchaburi Road or Sukhumvit Road.

Knock-off clothing is pretty cheap but real "authentic" clothing purchased in malls will most likely be more expensive than back in your own city.

Central World is big sell Same HK

I like either the MBK Mall or the Central World Plaza Mall for good quality clothing and shoes. Central World is the 14th largest mall in the world and has hundreds of high quality shops and department stores. Prices there can be on the high side, but there always seems to be good sales where you can pick up some pretty good bargains, and most of the quality is top-notch. MBK is mostly smaller shops, but has a huge variety of clothing, shoes and just about anything you can think of, it also has some pretty good knock-offs up on the 6th floor and excellent prices, unlike Central World you'll need to bargain at most shops at MBK to get the best price. There's great places to shop all over Bangkok, Robinson's and Central are the two largest department stores with stores throughout Bangkok and often have very good sales on otherwise fairly high-priced clothing.
