Disneyland resort.  There are spots in Downtown Disney where you can see the parks extended fireworks for free.  If you park in the Downtown Disney parking lot, you get a few hours parking free plus 2 more hours if you eat at most of the restaurants (make reservations).

There is another location that is interesting.  Park where I mentioned, then either take the tram or walk to the large parking structure and go up to the top (roof) level parking.  Not only do you get a view of the Disney show, you can also get a good look at the skyline and the show that often occurs at Angels Stadium (if they have it this year).

From some places in RPV you can see Long Beach, Torrance and the Redondo Beach all at the same time.

Rosebowl is always awesome.  This year the Colliseum has a free show (for those who show up early).  I'll just look out for d**k Clark on TV.....no wait,. that's new years.  c**p!!
