Where's the best "surf city" in the US?

Getting ready to move due to constant cold water and notoriously lame surf, need a place that has consistant good waves. Prefferably warm year round.

Wilmington NC. We got Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Topsail Island, Surf Sity, Figure 8 Island, and Wilmington beach. Check it out.

ahhh, san diego is one of the best places.  mellow people but there is a growing number of barneys coming out of the

woodwork!  they just do not know the rules.

Huntington Beach California.

Everything you could want.  Great beaches, not too crowded, warm weather year round.

It's easy to get to all the best surf spots in socal.  Go visit there.

OR...

North shore of Oahu.  Duh.

San Diego or Huntington Beach California.  Both have great weather (a little less pollution in SD depending upon who you ask) year round and great surfing.  Also easy to get to most of the good surfing in SoCal from either, so pick whichever is cheaper or where you can get a job and then travel to the places you really want to surf.
