Where's the best restaurant in the Philippines?

I'm going to the Philippines in a few weeks. I'll be in Manila, Cebu, Tacloban, and Hilongos (Leyte). Where can I find really good food? Are there any good smorgasboard type places?

Manila:Dencios in Quezon City and Greenhills (Great value!)

Cebu:Pizza Hut Bistro

Tacloban:Ocho Bar & Grill

Hilongois:I don't know

you could try makati city, there are lots of good restaurants and bars :) tell the taxi driver to take you to greenbelt, theres a big mall there with lotsa food choices :p

for local dishes you could try dencios, gerry's grill, cabalen.. :)

Depends on what you want to eat there is a wonderful variety of cuisines in the Manila.  You can try the restaurants in Eastwood City, The Fort, and Greenbelt.  If you want Filipino food try Gerry's Grill, Dencio's, or Grilla.  If you want a smorgasboard restaurant try Kamayan/Dad's/Saisaki in Megamall.  It's basically 3 restaurants in one.  You can have Filipino, Continental, and Japanese in one buffet.  If you go to The Fort try Cuisine beside Embassy Club for fine dining food.  Le Souffle is also good there.  In Eastwood City try Jack's Loft for awesome desserts, Pho Hoa for Vietnamese food, Prince of Jaipur for Indian food, Super Bowl for Chinese food.  I can't really help you with the other cities though since I'm not very familiar with the area.

Allow me to correct the QUESTION. There are no hilongos in the PHILIPPINEs but only ILONGGOS. They are not found in SAMAR but in REGION VI - WESTERN VISAYAS particulary the province of ILOILO with ILOILO CITY as its capital. Thus the name of the people living there are called ILONGGOS.
