Where's the best shore fishing in Northern California right now?

Given that it's late July, where are the best reservoirs/lakes/rivers/surfcasting spots/fishing piers to fish in Northern California? What kind of bait should I use, and what would I be fishing for?

try the sacremento delta

they got some good fishing

like sturgeon stripers, and catfish

since its summer the best fishing should be catfishing

and i recomend clams or anchovies
