Looking to buy .40 S&W JHP for my Springfield XD40 and 5.56 FMJ ammo for my SAIGA .223. Wondering if anyone knows a good website to purchase in bulk that's cheap. I'm looking for about 500 rounds of the .40 S&W and about 1,000 to 2,000 rounds of the 5.56 FMJ rounds.

  1. Are you sure its 5.56 you really want....  .223 is the same size with a slightly less powder charge in it.... Its the civilian 5.56X45 nate and is perfectly safe to use in your rifle.......

J&G sales has this stuff in bulk at real decent prices.....

    Or take a look at....

  2. www.cheaperthandirt.com usually has some very competivie prices.   I also found that Academy sports has some very good ammo prices if there is one of their stores close to you.  Also, I've seen some really good deals at a few gunshows.

  3. I've personally used these sites multiple times; Trust me, they're legit and reliable. Happy shooting.

  4. http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/223.h... for the .223

  5. That's a good link METROPOLIS1 but I usually get 5.56. I have a lot of both but...

Its not a good idea to put 5.56x45 in a .223 cambered gun. ammunitiontogo.com has some good stuff but they lumped the 5.56 and .223 in the same category so be sure to know what your getting.
