Question:

Where's the cheapest place to park near The Printworks / IMAX in Manchester?

I know there's an NCP at the Shudehill Transport interchange, but they charge £4.20 for between 2-4 hours and up to £7.20 if I stayed longer - typical NCP ripoff!

Does anyone know any other car park that's nearby and more reasonable in its fares? And if possible, how much would it cost for up to 4 hours?

Thanks!

  1. It depends when you're going. If it's the weekend, the NCP at Manchester Piccadilly charges £3.50 a day.

  2. Tonight? not many places, unless you wanted to walk far to get to the cinemas, you could try going to the AMC unless you really want to watch it in IMAX, but that way you would only have to go to deansgate and I think there's loads of places to park free around there.

You could always catch a bus or get a taxi, that way there would be no charges at all, but when paying £10-£15 per ticket for the IMAX, your bound to be paying a lot anyway.

  3. Ha ha!! See if there is a 'pawn shop' nearby. Then present yourself with your car and pawn it for £1. You could get the whole week parking for that...

Then go back when you finished your business. Pay your £1 and get your car back

You wont find cheaper parking than that!! I assure you!
