  1. Everywhere in mexico is super cheap duh

  2. all the towns located in the country side with less than 4000 inhabitants.

  3. Learn to say.. "Where is the place with the biggest bugs and the cheapest cough syrup" in Spanish, and start walking south.

    Vaya con dios amigo.

  4. my family owns a place in southern Mexico, and I mean SOUTHERN Mexico, half an hour from Belize.  you can fly into Cancun and it's a 4 hour drive south but this town is very cheap.  it's on a lake and has a small expat community but is very local.  it's called bacalar and it's a beautiful little town.  Go to casita carolina for a place to stay.  try and support this area that was recently hit with hurricane dean, they can use all the money they can get!

  5. Sleep in your car if you are THAT cheap... but be careful... you COULD be kidnapped.

  6. Mexico is a large country. It is not unlike asking where is the cheapest place to stay in Canada. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of places with ' few tourists' and 'no resort hotels' in Mexico that are inexpensive.

Your term 'super cheap' is also a little ambiguous. To some it could be $5 a day to others it might be $50 a day.

Lastly, if you were to post your favorite inexpensive secret place in Mexico on a public forum like this, how long do you think it would be before word spread and it too was trampled by the tourist hordes?

Personally, I think there are more than enough all-inclusive resorts in Mexico already.

    Just my humble opinion.

  7. cheapest is on the beach, and I mean on the sand itself

  8. hostels
