10 ANSWERS

  1. There is NO freedom in Iran from anything... thanks for your president....

  2. I think most journalists are Marxists and think it is OK.

  3. In the US, we simply buy-out contrary newspapers and media outlets. Even the most "liberal" rags in Seattle seem to stay within well-defined limits to appease advertisers.

What major newspaper or major TV station in the US has come out with a consistent editorial position to impeach George W. Bush?

Neither Iraq nor the US has freedom of the mass media. If the US did, they would allow Mr. Ralph Nader to debate Obama and McCain.  Don't you love the "Due to restrictions set forth by the freedom of the press law." Doesn't it remind you of the "Freedom Fighters" or the "War on Terror" double speak?

Research the take over of "Popular Mechanics" before the publication of their touted 9/11 Debunking article (which is a neocon propaganda piece supporting the 9/11 Commission Report in all of its many faults).

What major outlet is questioning the "war on terror" or the pending attack on Iran?

What outlet has supported single-payer, univeral health care in the US like Canada?

    PBS is incorrect.

  4. FREEDOM OF THE PRESS & IRAN ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE. IT IS A DICTATORSHIP OF RELIGIOUS ZEALOTS. A GIFT FROM PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER TO THE WORLD.

  5. I remember when there was a difference between Journalism and The Media. Now both are governed by what the Board Members want. So freedom of the press is now Puppet Land and you want us to emit a feeling and here it is, what is the difference between what happened in Iran and what CBS or The New York Times spews NOTHING.

  6. WHAT!!! Where's the freedom in Iran for anything...s***w the journalists...there are babies and mommas suffering...they don't even have the freedom to live...this question is totally screwed up...

  7. It's unfortunate, but Iranians are not that supportive of their president and will hear about world news from the internet.

  8. Where`s the freedom of the press in Iran ? It`s the same as the radical bias` liberal media here in the USA , except for the fact that here in the USA the lying liberal radical bias` media is protected by "civility" of it`s opponents ! Send the wacko radical liberal bias` feel good touchy politically correct journalist to Iran to try and get away with their same bull dung print tactics that they do here ??  Send the radical liberal democrats like Pelosi , Murtha , and Obama over there to oversee the "TALKS" between the government of Iran , and the press in settling this issue ! Let the libs stay there until the talks begin , why ? Because they will have to stay permanently , as the lesson the libs will learn is that the government of Iran does no talking to solve problems ! The same as they will do if the radical liberal loons here in the USA think that a terrorist state wants to "talk" about concessions from their views` !!

  9. Due to restrictions set forth by the freedom of the press law in Iran in their articles 2, 34, 19 and press law in Iran.

  10. I would hope it would have the effect of rallying opposition against things like the Fairness Doctrine advocated by the democrats to shut down talk radio as we know it today.  Ironically, though, I don't think most of them consider it a threat to their ideology because most of them seem to agree.  The danger for them is not for like minded ideology of today, but for differences they might wish to express in the future.
