  1. In the barn.

  2. All the Metro (or subway or Tube) go to a Depot at night-time. Seeing that most lines don't interact with one an other, the trains go to Depots at either end of their lines. During the night-time period, the lines become major construction sites where men and women work to renovate the rails, tunnels and anything else needed to give you a smooth journey.

  3. They are "in the barn".  This means in a yard for that purpose (parking) or service facility.

  4. Yes, they are in  depots!

  5. the yard where they are assembled for next early a.m.

  6. there are large deposits outside all cities. and almost all are uncovered on wide spaces.
