Just buy the download version from the image-line online shop. Nothing to worry about indeed.

It's not in shops because it's a niche product.  If you're willing to pay, just buy it from Image-Line.  They're perfectly reputable.  You can load cash onto a prepaid debit card if you're worried about identity theft.
