s***w the story how the idiot slammed onto my car at 4mph the idiot ditched the area but I got his license, anyways where can I find a front bumper for a 2008 White Honda Civic. It is an 8th Generation bumper and I need to find a website for me to order a new one. Or is there any way that I can have the area sort of polished and painted over? Its 3 spots with the paint peeled about the same size as your pinkie nail. Suggestions? Thanks in Advance!

  1. Don't paint it over, or polish it. It won't help. Just replace it. Talk to your local Honda dealer. Its a 2008 Civic, which is fairly new. And if you don't replace it, you can decrease its safety reliability in the future.

  2. First off, if you go to the repair man, then he is going to charge you to re-paint the entire front bumper, so if you are looking to replace it, then you might as well do it yourself. First, you are going to need a bumper (under sources, there is a link to eBay). Try to either find the bumper in either the color you need, or black. Then just go to a major super store, like Walmart, and get a couple cans of primer spray paint (very important), and then get a couple cans of white AUTO paint. Watch this video FIRST before trying anything, that way you can see if you are capable of pulling off this kind of project (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1C5VJtet...

Good Luck, and one thing to keep in mind is when pulling off the bumper, first pull it out towards you, and then pull up, and if working alone, lay down a big blanket, that way if falls on the ground, it won't get scratched up. Also, don't try to use the paint on your old bumper, because based on the two different materials being sprayed, the paint job would get messed up. and finally...don't forget to clean off the new bumper, and get rid of all the little pieced of dirt, etc on it. Once again, good luck!

  3. You might find a used bumper off a Civic in a late model wrecking yard...or you can buy a new one from ROCKAUTO.COM

  4. Probably cheaper to fix what you have rather than replacing it.
