  1. If you reside in the US I would recommend you visit a local public auto auction or even better US gov't car auctions. There are, I beleive about 3,000 US Wide. I did some research recently which suggested this..  

    Most vehicles sold at government car auctions are gov't preowned and almost always come with documented maintenance history and with low mileage. These vehicles are often sold with a set minimum reserve price. In these cases Ie recommend that you should expect the average selling price to be closer to the Blue book trade in prices.

    This represents some significant savings regardless.

  3. Just gotta hunt the classifieds for that one private seller finally letting it go.  Its unlikely any dealer will have what you're looking for.
