Where Can I Get A Ham Radio Installed?

Question

I just purchased a Yaesu transeiver and need professional installation in my vehicle. Where can I get this done? I live in Chino, CA.

CBers and Ham radio operators are NOT the same!!!!

First question.... are you a licensed Amateur (ham) radio operator?  

If you are a CBer without a ham license then you are in violation of the law.

Other hams will help you.. if you are a legally licensed ham.

Chino has a lot of Big truck stops,  truckers are the last of the Ham Radio users and so a truck stop should have a guy on site or on call in the area to put it in.  If not, most stereo shops have the expertise to figure out how to install a ham radio but the trick is to get a shop to actually do the job.  most shops will jump at a radio/speaker deal but a ham radio? might take some convincing $$$$$$$.

any good CB, pro audio, or repair shop can do it... you will just have to show them what needs to go where, and they can run the wires and mount the antenna for you... auto work is auto work...
