Question:

Where Can I Get A Load Of "Slap" Stickers Printed Cheap, That Would Ship To The UK.?

I'm looking for a website where I can upload a logo design, and then have it printed to a "Slap" sticker, (which is a sticker, around palm-sized that you "slap" to a surface).

I'm looking to get some made for promotional and private use, and for a moderate sized quantity, (around 100 to start with).

They need to be easy peel, allow me to upload my own design, and be of good quality, but also still be cheap and affordable, (ideally under £10, which, if you consider the prices of business cards and such you can buy online, is faesable).

If the company is outside the UK, they need to ship to the UK and either accept Maestro or PayPal as a form of payment.

  1. There are two points to consider:-

    (1) Business cards barely differ one from another; in terms of the card, their size and the ink.

    (2) More importantly, people use business cards. I am being sarcastic, but in a nice way. Seriously, consider the vast volumes involved. Hence, the low production costs (printing is very highly competitive)

Okay; (you MUST have the use or access to a decent home printer) so here's what to do:

    (A) You're looking for A4 (possibly A3 - depends on the printer) sheets of sticker paper. I don't know a brand name off-hand, but I've seen catalogues with every colour, shape and size. Your's are obviously circular.

    (B) The design, as professional as it may be, should use as little ink, especially block colours, as possible. That's where the background colour will REALLY come into play. Think about it carefully because this HOW you will achieve the 'professional' look. Tip: allow a little bleed and don't have a pattern that comes really close to the edge of the circle's edge as you may have to allow for 1 or 2mm tolerance around the edge, unless the printer is very accurate. In that respect, a printer may even be better than a high speed press or 'Duplo'(c) machine.

PS You don't need to visit a printer's until you're ordering 10,000 or more. If you do go that route, make sure you 'proof' a copy first. They can run an accurately coloured single copy on their printer. (Usually a high-spec photo-copier to the untrained eye)

  2. The best thing I could advise would be a Google search, or to ask other local companies.
