  1. There are loads in London try these sites too:

    http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php?title...

    http://www.centralgurdwara.org.uk/

  2. there's so many of them ... look at

    http://www.sikh.net/gurdwara/World/GWUK....

  3. The people at the Central Sikh Gurdwara are very kind and helpful. They helped us organise a school visit last year, which went really well: everybody learned from it (including the teachers and the parent-helpers -- I was one of the parents who went.)

It's the oldest Sikh Gurdwara in the country -- in fact the oldest in Europe. They're celebrating its centenary this year, so it's a very happy time for them.

And it's not in Southall =D it's in North Kensington, at 62 Queensdale Road, London W11 4SG (at the corner of Norland Road).

Shepherd's Bush tube station is nearest, but you have to cross the subways under the Holland Park roundabout which some people prefer not to do. If you're one of those, Holland Park tube is only about 12-15 mins walk away.

Here's the link for their website: http://www.centralgurdwara.org.uk/ -- on the home page they give the email for the education officer

But please note that for some reason they've got their own postcode wrong: it's W11 not W12.
