Question:

Where Can I Watch Hockey in Ireland?

I'm fortunate enough to be spending the next semester studying at UCD. Unfortunately, though, I'll be missing out on a bulk of the NHL regular season and -- gasp! -- the playoffs.

Will I be able to catch a few NHL games on TV in Dublin? Even better, is there anywhere I can watch some hockey live?

  2. I think the lack of answers here is an answer in itself,

the time difference might be a problem to seeing them live, if you are living in rented accomadation or in the student villages then maybe you can get a cable package from ntl or sky that will have american sport channels like as freeview.

  3. What you refer to as Hockey, in Ireland we refer to it as Ice Hockey. What you call field hockey is what we just call hockey.

    Just so you know!

  4. Get up to Belfast and watch Belfast Giants. They had a certain Mr Fleury playing for them 2 seasons back so aint so bad...
