  1. I would stick with reputable buyers. Some of the less than reputable buyers have practices that can cause you problems. First the cameras are sometimes grey market. This means you do not have a US warranty. Its not a problem if the camera works but if there is an issue you may be on your own. Some larger companies also sell grey market but the let you know up front.

Some places when the price is too good to be true have a practice of removing all the accessories that are supposed to come with the camera and sell it seperately ( battery, charger, cables etc) Bu the time you buy all that you pay as much or more than getting it from a reputable place in the first place.

If you are looking to save money your best bet may be to shop the used market. Adorama and B&H both have used equipment. Since the D300 came out you can probably pick up a D200 or even D2 at a good price and these are both still good servicible cameras

Good luck with the new studio

  2. Don't tie up your money in expensive camera equipment which will more likely lie around your studio.  Instead, opt to RENT professional cameras on a daily or weekly basis in order to fulfill your photo assignments.  And if you are looking for a bargain camera outfit, check out the Olympus Evolt E-510 DSLR with built-in image stabilization [in the body] and live action LCD viewer [which is not found in the D60, D80 or D200]. A two lense outfit sells for around $675 at samys.com.  Consumer Reports highly rates the Olympus.

    Good luck!

  3. http://astore.amazon.com/dslr-lens-20 ,website you can find best price for DSLR and more
