I'm doing an art project based on London, where I have to visit London and take pictures of my chosen topics as primary research. I thought The Pearly Kings and Queens of London would be a brilliant topic to research, however, it could be very difficult to get photographs of them as I'm not sure whereabouts I they can be found. Does anyone know where I might find them

  1. Most boroughs of London have a public library which you should be able to find with ease; some are on the ground floor of public buildings in their centre such as the clocktower in Croydon. So, wherever you are in the city- look for the tallest clock or largest public meeeting place and inquire there; usually these people are characters (i.e. celebrities) in town- although they won't necessarily tell you where they live, they will tell you the soonest events they will be attending. In short, if you go to the borough centres you can locate them with greater ease.. G

  2. there is a big castle if you tell the soldiers to take the pictures for you

i think once they took the picture of the pearly king for me but i lost the picture

  3. You actually can't find them, because they no longer exist. But the Cockneys of east London do put on displays at certain functions where they wear the outfits.Have you tried -Google? The other thing you could do is type in -Lambeth Way which was an extremely popular song way back in the old days. You could also try typing in -the British Museum. You might find a link.

  4. You need to go to the Lambeth area. Just try not to get stabbed
