  1. Rry ebay or just consult a local pool store or game club and ask them just spread the word around to local fellow pool lovers.

  2. nothing wrong with ebay, by clicking the drop down menu, to list nearest 1st from ur zip code. i've had great luck(3 tables) off there, at a super price for my family, if u get lucky. But you can always go check it out, b4 u bid on it! alot of people just want them out of their house, for more room. that and craigslist, and local paper, but u better get the paper asap, good cheap ones go very fast outta the paper. ebay tables are as good as any, if u go check them out throughlly, b4 u decide to bid. good luck, any questions on moving them, or taking apart and put back together tips, feel free to ask. you want 10 full fingers after you get it set up:)

  3. NO !! Not ebay but shop in local papers try to see before you buy

On line is like a mail order bride the pic may look fine but what will you wind up with ???

No Idea where your talking about-Ask a local bar-Pub owner for info

  4. try www.craigslist.com go to your area and look for a pool table sale.

  5. Check the local classified ads and craigslist.org in your area for used tables. Look for good name brand tables like Olhausen, Brunswick, Connelley, and possibly Diamond (probably won't be cheap). Also, when you're checking prices, keep in mind you'll need to spend somewhere in the range of $300-400 to have the table professionally moved and recovered.

  6. Import tables from Namco and internet are cheap in cost and quality.  They usually require use of a sub-contractor for installation at a cost of $150 to $200 on top of table price.

A used table in good shape will most likely cost the same as a new one once its moved and set back up.  Pool tables retain their value unless damaged.   Sometimes, you can find a great deal, but not often.

A new table will usually come with a warranty from the manufacturer( void when sold privately) and store to go back to when the table settles and is a hair off level.  I would agree that Olhausen and Connelly  are good brands, but I would stay away from Brunswick.  Most of their tables go together like imports.( cause they are ) Its worth it to spend $2200 on new everything(table, cloth, cues& accessories) than $1500 on a used table and $650 to get it moved and recovered.  Plus you also have more say in the look of the table, type and color of cloth and quality of cues, balls, etc.
