Where Can One Purchase a Cape?

Dear Yahoo,

Our Friend, Famous Chuck, is in the market to purchase a cape. He is not looking for anything fancy, but he does have a few minimal requirements. It should be something durable enough to run and ski in, yet versatile enough to wear to a sports bar, barbeque pit, or a Bo Bice concert. All of the capes available locally are overpriced and of questionable quality. Can anyone recommend a vendor of high quality capes, such as those worn by Superman, Liberace, or Mick Jagger (circa Altamont Speedway)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I usually get mine from Cape Warehouse on Highway 180 next to Costco.

and I Bedazzle mine too.  It takes some effort but the results are totally worth it.

I would Check Ebay. If that fails one can always be ordered from a tailor. If you follow the Tailor route you have complete control over the quality (if not the price) of your cape. You also control what style of cape you would like produced, whereas you have little control over these areas if you buy your cape from Ebay or any other store.

At a costume store? The ones you are refering to were probably custom made.
