go to a jewelry store. tell them your budget and what kind of stone you want and they'll find you something.  Unless you want a diamond you should have no problem finding this.  Especially since most places have nice stuff in clearance sections as well.

go to any jewelry store. look for the rings that they may have on sale. it doesnt necessarily have to be a promise ring so to say but if you get and thats what it means to you and your partner then thats all that matters. my boyfriend actually got me one at zales and it was under 180 and it is my birthstone and diamonds. its the meaning behind the ring that really matters! i hope this helps you some.
