please don't record the ringtone. that sounds ghuetto and the quality is terrible. ringtones are not hard to make, there are some good reliable and safe sites to make them from music files

if you are on verizon, you can email a song byte to your phone and save it as a ringtone. It costs whatever the charge is to receive a text email to you phone (varies by plan).

Since you have a razr you can look up the song on the internet and push record on the part of the song that you want and then you are good. I did that for the song Burnin up when they didnt have it. It worked great.

if you have copy of mp3 songs on your PC, you can convert them using free program like audacity or bitpim , just rip the part of the song that you want as your ringer.. then transfer from your PC to phone using cable or bluetooth.
