I have a couple big avi files 740mb (movies) that i need to convert, but I do not have a credit card to use to buy some program, so I was curious if there is a free Avi to Mov or Mp4 converter.

I don't know any free tool to convert avi to mov, mp4, I know a video converter which a friend tell me, it can convert between video files like AVI to MPEG, WMV to AVI, WMV to MPEG, AVI to WMV,AVI to MOV, AVI to MP4, etc. It is not free, but it works great for me, if you need, you can free download it here to have a try,

Yeah there are, you just have to search the internet. May take a while though but if you want it then you'll have to spend time looking.
