Where Did Jon&Kate(from jon and kate plus eight)Go On There Summer Getaway?

i was just wondering where they went on there summer getaway to a speaking engagement or something like that.can you please tell me.i wanted to go there on my summer vacation.I'm not a stalker!it just looks like a really nice place to go.thanks!

I think it was Corolla, NC which they call the Outer Banks area? Check out the link below...thats how I found out, cause I wondered the same thing myself. It has posts of people talking about the episode and the location info.

They vacationed in Corolla, NC.  This is one of the northern most parts of the Outer Banks of NC (OBX).  The area with the horses is accessible only by 4 wheel drive and is to the north.  Driving on the beach up there is absolutely amazing!!!!!  The lighthouse they visited is the Currituck Lighthouse.  I have been vacationing in this area since 1983.  It is very relaxed and a great place to go for a family reunion (many rental homes are quite large) or just a family getaway.  Mostly the area is comprised of houses for rent, but there are also two hotels/resorts-  Hampton Inn and The Sanderling Inn and Resort.  Currituck County has a great website geared toward vacationers: www.visitcurrituck.com

A little bit of history:  The horses that the Gosselins saw now live in the 4x4 area, but used to live right where the houses are in corolla village and whalehead beach.  I can remember waking up in the morning and seeing them eat breakfast outside of my bedroom window and I remember them coming down to the beach too.  They were relocated to the four wheel area for their own safety.

It was definitly OBX in the Northern Section. OBX is one of the best vacation spots especially for familes. Its all about relaxation and the beach and its just absolutely goregous...We have gone for the past two years and will probably continue to make it a yearly trip...Great trip for mulitple familes!
