Where Do I Start?!?

It has always been my dream to be a singer. Everyone has always told me that I have a great voice, and that I should try and pursue that professionally. Yes, it is a very long shot, but lately, it is what I've wanted to pursue, or at least try to. But I wouldn't and don't even know where to begin. I live in a generously small city about 45 miles north of L.A. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you want to be a singer, all you have to do, write a song,have some one to make the music for it, and go and record it in one of the record studio ,then it is given to some dis-jokey and play your song on the radio, Then get your self a mangier and he will get a lot of songs written for you, and promote you to different shows on TV, and when you get famous you will go on tour around the states

Throw yourslef right in at the top - Go to a record company (I am sure there are loads in L.A) and just ask if and where you could audition :)

search online for some recording auditions or start small and get a gig at a coffee shop or something.

and then take a day off and drive to LA, see what you find!
